Dr. M. Venkata Ramana has an extensive teaching experience of 32 years (22 years of UG and 14 years of PG), He worked as Lecturer, Assoc. Professor and Principal of Government Autonomous College in the cadre of Professor in Government of Telangana. He has published 42 research papers in the area of Material Science and Physics, authored 18 books and contributed as a resource person for conducting Refresher courses in experimental Physics by Three Indian Science Academies. He has to his credit the working experience at International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Italy. He served as a member of the Governing body of Three Undergraduate colleges and a Post-graduate college. As an academic audit team member he visited more than 50 undergraduate and postgraduate colleges across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He was presently serving as editorial member of 8 international and 3 National Journals. He is a Life member of 6 National academic bodies and Fellow member of 4 national academic bodies. He is on the Advisory board of Three Quality assessment and accreditation bodies and presently working as NAAC assessor. Presently he is serving AU as Director, IQAC from 2021 till date. Has 6 research publications on his name.
Research Interests
Dr. M.Venkata Ramana’s Research interests include Glass science, Rare-earth spectroscopy, Computer simulation, Nanomaterials, Single crystals, Polymers and Ceramics
Teaching Interests
Computational Physics, Numerical methods, Spectroscopy, Quantum Mechanics and Optics are his areas of interest in teaching. Design of experiments in Physics is the prime area of interest.
